An Aymaran girl living in the Chocorasi region of Bolivia. The Aymarans suffer from extreme poverty. Women and children are left alone while the men search for food. Because of drought conditions and poor breeding practice, their llamas have suffered as well. Through the Kechuaymara Foundation and the Association of Llama Producers and Artisans of Chocorasi (APROCAC), LWR has sponsored a project helping community members, including this child, improve the quality of llama products and work towards a higher standard of living.
