1. 45 Days Left to Submit Your Photo Entries!

To inspire timely submission of those would-be last-minute contest entries, every day between now and October 15th (contest deadline), we will feature an entry from last year’s photo contest.  Cheers to all the photographers who have sent in entries over the years, and good luck to this year’s participants! Visit and bookmark www.photoshare.org to stay tuned.

2. Photographer Spotlight: Ketan Joshi

Ketan Joshi

Ketan K. Joshi received her MHS from Johns Hopkins University, School of Public Health in 1999. Since then she has been doing work focused in India and Africa around reproductive health promotion and prevention education.  She has worked with the American Red Cross and JHU/CCP over the last 5 years.

Ketan has been a supporter of Photoshare for many years. She says, "when I learned about Photoshare, I started emailing all my colleagues and friends in far off places about this wonderful resource. What a great way for individuals all around the world to see 'snapshots' of other cultures and places."
